I have been looking at hotels because I am going to stay in Maine soon. I was not sure what the range of Maine hotels would be like but I have been looking on the Internet and there seem to be a really good selection. I have decided that I would like something luxurious because I will be there a while and I have quite big budget and so I think it will be nice to be able to relax. I would like quite a big room. I need a desk in there and obviously a nice bathroom too. It would be really nice to have a living area with a sofa and maybe even a kitchenette as well so that I can do some meals but I will keep looking at the hotels in Maine and see whether any of them have these sorts of facilities. I am looking forward to being able to stay in a luxurious hotel for a change as so often I have to put up with something cheap and it has been rather poor and although it was good value for money, I would rather be able to pay more money and get a comfortable room.

With the weather starting to get better, I have been spending a bit more time in my garden. It has got me thinking about how my garden look and I have also been looking at my neighbours as well. They have very need and tidy gardens and mine is rather scruffy. I have been meaning to do something with it and make it look a lot better but it is hard work and I always like to relax in the garden and not actually do work in there! Of course, I know that if I want to feel relaxed I need to keep it looking reasonable but I am not so, fussy as they are. One of them has a collection of yard gnomes on their lawn and has to move each one before they can mow it and several times a year washes each of the gnomes in a bucket of soapy water. The next door garden has some neat sheds with weathervanes on the top and they have to paint the sheds every year. I am pleased that I decided to just have gravel in my garden and a few pots as all I have to do is a little bit of weeding and planting twice a year and it keeps itself looking good.

My company have just installed some new order management systems and they are fantastic. I must admit that it did take me a while to get to grips with it all – working out how to work the new systems but now, I am used to it, it is so good. The Order processing system is so much quicker and so much more functionality, it makes everybody’s jobs so much easier. We can things done a lot more quickly, there is less paperwork involved and we can all communicate better through the system. Because the work is easier we have more time to attend to aspects of our work that were getting pushed on to the back burner before. This means that we are all more productive and it seems like the company are really befitting as result of that. The e commerce fulfillment is fantastic too. I think that the whole atmosphere in the company has changed, no one is as stressed and people are more chatty and happy and it is all fantastic. It is amazing what a big difference making this small change has made to the whole company. I think that the boss is very pleased that he implemented this big change. 

I have been having a hunt around to see if I can find some red suspenders to buy for my grandfather for his birthday. He has always worn suspenders and he is comfortable in them, but the ones that he has are getting rather old. I have never bought them before and so have been hunting around to try to find out where I can get them from. It seems like one of the more popular brands are the Perry suspenders and from what I have seen, they do look really good. I am a bit worried about getting them though because he is rather stuck in his ways and may not appreciate something that is a bit different to what he is used to and what he has always used. I may just try them though as I am sure he will try them out and he may even find that he prefers them and really gets used to them quickly. Hopefully, I can get the right colour and then that will be enough to make him like them and want to wear them. He always likes red ones and so that is what I am searching for at the moment.

I think that the recession has knocked out even more companies than I first thought and now I need to find someone who is dealing with network cabling in Utah I am at a loss to find one. There is a new company setting up and I think that I will have to use them. It is great to see people setting up new companies in this climate – it is very brave. However, I do worry that they might get part of the way through the job and then go bust or something. I know how hard it is setting up a new company and now is the worst time to do so. I think that I might get them in for a quote and chat to them about the company and how they work, how they are financed and things like that and see whether I think that I can trust them with the job. It will be great if I can because there is a need for a company doing this and I will recommend them to other people that I know will be able to use the service too.
